The Problem

After every olive harvest,
the crisis begins.

Morocco produces millions of tonnes of olive pomace each year. Most of it is dumped in fields or waterways. Livestock farmers, meanwhile, spend a growing share of income on imported feed. Rural families are squeezed from both sides.
